Home from Home (2019) transformed the Beckstein Room in Wigmore Hall into an immersive creative experience featuring sounds created by participants from across the Wigmore Hall Learning programme. Within the room, 5 distinct areas were set; representing living room, play room, kitchen, dining room and garden. 50 pieces of music were attached to physical objects, for example a mug. Placing these objects in different parts of the room played the fragment of music through a speaker close to you. The complete effect being a surround sound composition of music, constantly changing as many people interacted with it, moving objects and therefore the sounds to create an evolving sonic and visual experience.
